Artist Residency at Akureyri Art Museum
Applications should be sent to listak@listak.is with the following information:
- A Short CV
- Website address and photos of resent work.
- Short text on how the applicant intends to use the studio (max 200 words).
- Information on which studio is requested and which time-slot.
A committee will select applicants and inform them within a month’s time. The guest artists who will be selected have one week to except/decline and another week to pay the amount of 20.000 ISK (approx. 145 euros) to confirm. Full payment needs to be payed 3 months in advance.
Studio 01

The studio is 22 m² and located on the 4th floor. The sleeping room is also 22 m², located on the 5th floor, with a shared washroom, shower, kitchen/sitting room. WIFI connection, electricity and heating, bedlinens, duvets, pillows, towels and a washing machine included.
Studio 02

40.000 ISK pr. week for two persons
The studio is 22 m², located on the 4th floor. The sleeping room is 18 m², located on the 5th floor, with a shared washroom, shower, kitchen/sitting room. WIFI connection, electricity and heating, bedlinens, duvets, pillows, towels and a washing machine included.
Sleeping room/workspace 03
28.000 ISK pr. week
35.000 ISK pr. week for two persons
This combined sleeping room and workspace is 15 m², located on the 4th floor. Shared washroom, shower, kitchen/sitting room, located on 5th floor. WIFI connection, electricity and heating, bedlinens, duvets, pillows, towels and a washing machine included.
During their stay, it is possible for the artists to have a small exhibition in the studio.
